Graduation
It's official. I'm out of high school.
It's really a weird feeling. I keep thinking that I have to go back to school on Monday or something and spend another whole year walking those halls. Well, fighting through those halls, actually. It always was difficult to maneuver through there.

I think I'll miss the high school, much as I wanted to get out and never look back. I had some tough times but also a lot of fun times and it's really scary to think that I might not ever see some of the people who where there with me again. I know there's Facebook and other wonderful Internet inventions like that, but it's not the same as seeing someone face-to-face and it's so easy to fall out of touch when you rely on a computer to manage your social life.

I don't know. Best case scenario is that I keep bugging my friends with emails and they return the favor. Worst case is we don't and we all move on with our lives, just not together. Either way, we're all moving on, whether we like it or not.
I've never been one for omens, but if anyone wants to run with an interpretation of our Graduation Ceremony, be my guest. It was weird enough to call for one.

It started out nice and sunny and warm. Beautiful day. Everyone's excited. We get to the school, line up inside and start marching out. The exact moment when my foot hit the pavement, it started to rain. Everyone paused, then someone shouted "I've waited four years to get out of here! Rain is not stopping me now!!!" Amen to that. We kept going and walked to our seats in the rain. We had to dump the water off the seats because it pooled and no one wanted to get their rear ends soaked. All the speeches were made in the rain. Valedictorian, Salutatorian, Principal, Class President... all were reading from wet paper. The moment the last speech ended and the principal announced that we were ready to get the diplomas, the sun came out. It did not rain for the rest of the ceremony. Cap and gown were soaking wet (and the cardboard inside the cap partially disintegrated) but the sun was out when we received our diplomas. I had to seriously hunt down my friends and family after we were done (I honestly went Crocodile Hunter [may he RIP] on their butts) but I found them finally. Project Graduation was after the ceremony and was basically one big final party for the Senior Class. Not much to say about that as far as crazy omens go, but I'm apparently very skilled at the roulette wheel. Too bad the chips were worthless.

I'm redrawing the trade with =
lunascythedragon. I don't like the image and I want something more powerful. I have an idea in my head and I think it will be very cool if I can pull it off. We'll see in a bit.
Started the Art Against Hatred & Violence entry. It's gonna be cartoony and I wanna try out gradient shading. I'm liking it so far though, so hopefully it will turn out nicely in the end.

And finally, I have a job!

It's at Bed Bath & Beyond. Not my ideal location, but employment is employment and I'm very happy.
