As the subject says, I am burned out. This week was loooooooooooooooooooong. Probably felt that way because Spring Break officially ended on Monday, meaning my headache-free streak was broken Monday morning. The time off was nice, though. Got to draw that Okami picture. That was some work, but was really fun and relaxing at the same time. I don't really get to do art just for the heck of it nowadays, doodling not included. I always doodle. Random papers floating around in my life are proof of that.

I'm sad that I don't get to do art for fun. The serious art that I do is always for school and takes a lot of time and dedication to get it done. It's enjoyable, but sometimes annoying and always pretty demanding. Comes out a lot nicer in the end than some of the stuff I post here, though.
Maybe I'll take some pictures of my school stuff and put it up to get some nicer art in my gallery...

Art projects aren't the only reason why I'm burned out and always busy. There's soccer, which likes to eat away at my Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays with the occasional Saturday thrown into the mix. Then there's school, which enjoys seeing me wake up at 6:00 AM every Monday through Friday, then takes pleasure in throwing lots and lots of homework at me. So, with all that stuff to do, I've been (you guessed it) feeling really burned out lately. Worst part is, I have SATs tomorrow. I get to wake up at 6 on a Saturday and go take a test for 6... freakin... hours. Well, at least I'll get them over with. Once the SATs are done, all I have to worry about are the SAT IIs in June for Math. Oh, and my AP English test is in... oh, about... 11 days, 5 hours and 10 minutes, give or take a few minutes for filling in those bubbles on the information.

So, in conclusion, I. Am. Exhausted. There are a few bright lights on the horizon, like a concert I'm going to a few hours after the SATs are done (don't worry, I'll somehow concentrate on the test and not think about Bryan Adams ). The the big shiney light that keeps getting brighter and brighter every day is the first day of summer. Sure, I'm a little freaked out about becoming a senior next year (sorry for the reminder, Liz-Ay ), but honestly, I just want this year and all its pressure over with. Then I get to hunt for colleges and all that. Know what? Forget that. I've still got some stuff to do before that day officially comes.
